She wanted to do it all. Erase the past, start from scratch, build it all a new until she loved what she outgrew. But gosh, the process! Oh my, the process!

The creeping truth about unlearning is that it takes a while to erase years of original programming. No matter how bad we'll want to wake up feeling renewed and regenerated, it will take some time. We have to go through the highs and lows before we find a flat and stable plane.

This journey ain't easy dear... Trust me! No matter how much you'd want it to be. Maybe one day it will be when more of our elements are in the light, but in the beginning, it might sting like hell.

There's always a place to rest...

When things get too overwhelming, we owe it to our sanity to take a breather and rest. However, we cannot rest in the same chaos we are trying to grow out of. Thinking through the pain is not rest. Instead, we go beyond how we feel to the knowing that it all will be okay.

This is when we remember that help is only a call away. We can whisper to the divine for help anytime and wait in silence for the remembrance of the peace within.

In as much as becoming fully ourselves is the aim of suchlike growth, it is clear we won't always have the courage to do it on our own. Sometimes we will need a hand to pull us out of the dark, and other times it's in pouring those tears that we break open. However this will appear for you, it is okay. Find that rock above your pain in whichever form that makes sense, because it is always there...
